Joe Stuart is a native Mobilian, currently in his 31st year as a licensed real estate professional, and works both in Mobile and Baldwin Counties. During his career he has been involved in all areas of the real estate industry, including residential and commercial sales, commercial leasing and management, subdivision development, residential construction and has owned and operated his own company.
Stuart is a graduate of Auburn University with a B.S. in business administration, and the University of South Alabama, with a M.S. in counseling. In addition to his real estate career, Joe has worked as a substance abuse counselor and prevention specialist.
Stuart is a past president of the Mobile County Auburn Alumni Association and has served in volunteer capacities with the Alabama Cooperative Extension Service, Boy Scouts of America, American Red Cross, Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce, and others. He presently volunteers several hours each month in area nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Joe and his wife, Averell, have been married for 32 years and they have two sons. He is an active member of his church where he serves as Stephen Minister and sings in the choir. Joe enjoys fishing and an occasional round of golf, but his real loves are deer hunting, singing, and playing guitar.
